Beth Smith

Beth Smith has extensive experience in executive leadership roles, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Freight Car Services at Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, since 2016. Prior to this role, Beth held the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Services, Human Resources, and Chief Compliance Officer at Progress Rail from 2005 to 2015, as well as Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety and Health Services Manager. Earlier in the career, Beth worked at Tyson Foods as Regional EH&S Occupational Health Manager from 1998 to 2005. Academically, Beth holds an Master of Business Administration from The University of Alabama and a Master of Science degree from Jacksonville State University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Jacksonville State University.
