Scott Garman

Scott Garman is an experienced marketing and sales executive with extensive expertise in global business development and strategic account management. Currently serving as Director Marketing & Strategic Global Accounts at Progress Rail, A Caterpillar Company, Scott focuses on engaging global EPC companies in the railway and mining sectors to create a pipeline of projects. Previously, Scott held various leadership roles at Electro-Motive Diesel, including Sales Director for Europe and Director of Global Strategic Marketing, where responsibilities included reorganizing sales strategies, leading multidisciplinary teams, and managing complex bidding processes. Scott began a career in corporate finance at Tenneco and has a strong educational background with an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Iowa State University.
