David Stones, CPM, CSPO, CSM has extensive experience in product, program and project management, customer engagement mobile solutions, process improvement, system integration analysis and implementation.
David began their career in 1995 as a Product Manager and Manager of Software Development at Intel, where they were responsible for the relationships and IP transfer to strategic partners that led to increased revenue opportunities. David then moved to Novell in 1998 as a Director of Software Development. In 2001, they joined Altiris as a Director of Product Development. In 2007, they joined Symantec as a Technical Director.
In 2009, David moved to Aculis/Progressive Consulting as a Senior Consultant, providing expertise in product, program and project management, customer engagement mobile solutions, process improvement, system integration analysis and implementation.
In 2010, they joined LANDesk Software as a Product Manager and then moved to LDS Church in 2011 as a Solution Manager. In 2013, they joined SwipeClock as a Director of Product Development, delivering innovative solutions to customer needs through the application of efficient product management and product development principles and practices.
In 2014, they joined Vivint Solar as a Principle Product Manager and Senior Manager of Product Integration, leading the strategic solar technologies and customer engagement efforts.
In 2016, they joined Henry Schein as a Senior Product Manager.
David Stones obtained a BA in Japanese with a minor in business from Brigham Young University between 1987 and 1991. David then obtained an MSCIS in Computer Science from the University of Phoenix between 1995 and 1998. In 2010, they obtained a Pragmatic Marketing Certified certification from Pragmatic Marketing in August. In 2011, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in April. In 2013, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance in May.
