Rahul Dhar

Rahul Dhar is a Senior Data Analyst at Progressive Insurance since November 2022, with previous experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University from August 2017 to May 2022, where demand elasticities were estimated using complex regression techniques on extensive food consumption data. Prior to academic pursuits, Rahul served as an Army Engineer Officer in the US Army from May 2009 to March 2016, achieving the rank of Captain and undertaking leadership roles during two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Additionally, service in the United States Army Reserve as a Unit Supply Specialist occurred from January 2005 to May 2009 while completing a Bachelor's degree. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the University of North Georgia.
