Lotfi Mehai

Lotfi Mehai has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development and architecture. Lotfi started their career at Praneste Technologies Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they implemented multiple modules for the Lease Management System. Lotfi then worked at Manugistics as a Senior Software Engineer, designing and implementing features for Fulfillment and Demand products, as well as the Master Plan product.

Lotfi also worked at NASA as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented modules for the grants management system NSPIRES. Lotfi then joined Global Science & Technology, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, before moving to Harris Corporation as a Senior Software Architect and Consultant for the FDsys Contract. In this role, they led the design and implementation of the FDsys search and public access enterprise sub-system.

At PTFS, Lotfi served as a Senior Software Architect & Engineering Manager, providing expert advice and support for the high-level design and implementation of Knowvation, a new product line. Lotfi also worked as a Senior Software Architect consultant for GPO FDsys Contract.

Lastly, Lotfi joined the U.S. Government Publishing Office as a Senior Software Architect and Consultant for both the FDsys and Govinfo contracts. In these roles, they managed teams and led the design, implementation, and production support for the search and public access sub-systems, as well as conducted re-architecture and detail design work.

Throughout their career, Lotfi has worked with a variety of technologies, including Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Solr, Microservices, NAS Storage, HTML5, JavaScript, and React, among others. Lotfi has demonstrated their expertise in providing technical leadership, leading teams, and managing complex projects.

Lotfi Mehai obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Université de Sherbrooke, from 1995 to 1998. In terms of additional certifications, Lotfi Mehai has completed the Partner Professional Services Technical program at Lucidworks in February 2019. Additionally, Lotfi Mehai has obtained certifications in Advanced Apache Solr 7, Apache Solr 4 Search Application Development, Documentum, DFC Advanced & WDK Development, FAST ESP 5 Search Application Development, Java Programmer SCJP 2, Web Component Developer SCWCD 2, Weblogic Integration: Developing Integration Solutions, and Weblogic Server: JEE Programming with EJBs.
