Cecilia-Ananya Belser-Patton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Currently serving as a Fellow at Surge Institute since July 2022, Belser-Patton also holds the role of REDI/JEDI/DEI Strategist/Designer/Educator/Facilitator/Coach at ProInspire since March 2021. Additional positions include Designer, Creator, and Facilitator at Community Wealth Partners and Director of Leadership Development at Alive & Well Communities, both ongoing since 2020. Belser-Patton is the Political Director at Jobs With Justice and the Founder and Principal of JUST Ssystems. Notably, Belser-Patton was the Co-Director of WILL Empower at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations from April 2021 to December 2022. Educational achievements include a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University, a DEI Graduate Certificate from the University of South Florida, a Master of Fine Arts in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Oklahoma.

ProInspire’s funders include Annie E. Casey Foundation, American Express, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Hewlett Foundation, Kresge Foundation, and Meyer Foundation. Over 4,000 individuals have participated in ProInspire’s open enrollment and custom programs to-date. ProInspire was named by the Chronicle of Philanthropy as one of 7 Nonprofits to Watch in 2015, and as a Top-Rated Nonprofit from 2015 to 2018.
