Harley Jones

Harley Jones leads teams of medical professionals and volunteers in projects across the United States as Project HOPE’s Senior Manager of Domestic Emergency Response. An emergency management professional with over 15 years of experience, Jones is skilled in crisis management, program development, and program evaluation.

Jones supports public health departments and health systems as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. He is responsible for consulting with long-term care facilities, conducting community outreach and mobile testing, and sending medical volunteers to some of the hardest-hit areas of the country such as Navajo Nation.

Prior to joining Project HOPE, Jones was the Chief Executive Officer of 360 Youth Services, a non-profit organization providing life-changing services to youth through prevention, education, counseling and housing. He also served in multiple roles at the American Red Cross, most recently as the Regional Disaster Officer of Chicago and Northern Illinois where he led teams on preparedness, response and recovery for a community of over 9.5M people.

Jones has a Master of Arts in European History from Illinois State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Eastern Illinois University. Post-college, Jones served in AmeriCorps responding to disasters around the country and educating over 15,000 individuals on life-saving skills.
