Ilona Tarolo

Ilona Tarolo is a seasoned security professional currently serving as Security Manager at Project HOPE since October 2022. Previously, Ilona worked as a STE at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development from June 2021 to February 2022, focusing on business process analysis and re-engineering for the EU4IBM project in Ukraine. From January 2015 to June 2021, Ilona held the position of Project Officer at the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, engaging with various EU-funded projects and international security collaborations. Ilona's career also includes serving as an Officer in the International Cooperation Department, where responsibilities encompassed fostering international relations with NATO, FRONTEX, and other entities. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in English-Ukrainian Translation from the National University named after Yurii Fedkovych and a Bachelor's degree in Law-enforcement and Philology from the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
