Olivier Lazar

Olivier Lazar has a diverse and extensive work experience in project management and leadership roles. Olivier has held positions such as Vice President Social & Community Impact and Vice President for Strategic Alliances at the Project Management Institute (PMI). Lazar has also served as Chief Operations Officer at the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF). Additionally, they have been a Director of Project Management at Altran Switzerland and the Chief Operating Officer at Palatine Group / Management Worlds Inc. Lazar is also an accomplished author and has served on the Board of Directors for organizations such as JA Europe and the PMI Switzerland Chapter. Throughout their career, Lazar has been involved in various volunteer positions and has been recognized for their contributions to the project management community.

Olivier Lazar has a diverse education history. Olivier participated in the Executive Education Program in Global Business & Politics at Yale School of Management in 2020. Prior to that, in 2019, they completed a course on Corporate Governance called "The Role of the Board and the Directors" at the Institute of Directors (IoD). In 2012-2013, they attended the Project Management Institute (PMI) where they obtained a Leadership Institute Master Class (LIMC) degree in Organizational Leadership. In 2004-2005, Olivier earned an Executive MBA from SKEMA Business School, specializing in Strategy, Project and Programme Management. Olivier also holds a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Project Management from SKEMA Business School, obtained in 2003-2004.

In addition to their formal degrees, Olivier has obtained several certifications. Olivier completed an Executive Education program in Finance at Said Business School, University of Oxford in 2021, and also completed a course on Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Northwestern University in the same year. Olivier has obtained several certifications from the Project Management Institute, including Generative AI Overview for Project Managers and Global Business and Politics. Olivier has also obtained the IoD Award in Role of the Director and the Board (RCD). It is worth noting that Olivier used to hold IPMA and PRINCE2 certifications, but did not maintain them.
