Alyssa Hansraj is a Neuroscience student at Case Western Reserve University, expected to graduate in 2026, with minors in Applied Data Science, Music, and Chemistry. Currently serving as a Neuropharmacology Research Student at Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, Alyssa filters pharmacological data related to Alzheimer’s Disease under Dr. Feixiong Cheng. Previous experience includes an internship at Discovery Accelerator/IBM, where Alyssa extracted chemical compounds from berries to study their correlation with Alzheimer’s Disease and the gut-brain axis, culminating in a poster presentation. Alyssa also coordinates volunteer efforts at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital through Project Sunshine and has held leadership roles in the organization. Earlier roles include Head of Data Management at Aga Khan Development Network and an internship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Alyssa’s foundational healthcare experience includes being a Medical Mentee at Rush University Medical Center.
