Michel Pierre Cassier

Michel Pierre Cassier has extensive experience in tax law, currently serving as the Owner and Tax Director/Counsel at SALT Advisors LLC since February 2009. Michel has also been a Tax Counsel for Project: WorldWide since 2005. Prior roles include State Tax Advisory at Ernst & Young LLP, Partner in the Business Tax Group at McGuireWoods LLP, and Partner in the State and Local Tax Practice Group at Hodgson Russ LLP. Earlier in the career, Michel worked as an Associate at Nixon Peabody, focusing on federal and international tax planning. Academically, Michel holds a JD in Securities Law from Albany Law School, an MBA in Financial Planning and Control from the University at Buffalo, and a BA in History, Sociology, and Economics from Hamilton College.
