Dre Cetra is a Staff Attorney at Project Guardianship. Dre received their JD from Northeastern University School of Law in 2018 and their BA in Political Science and Africana Studies from Binghamton University in 2014.
After law school, Dre worked as an Associate at The Law Offices of Gina Mendola Longarzo, LLC, where they represented clients in family law matters. In 2020, Dre began working as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Mid New York, where they provided trauma-informed advocacy for survivors of domestic violence in family court matters throughout three upstate New York counties.
Dre has also interned for Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand and worked as a Student Attorney with D.C. Law Students in Court.
Dre Cetra attended the George Washington University Law School, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) program at Sarah Lawrence College, where they studied investigative journalism, criminal justice policy, and history. Dre also participated in a study abroad program at the University of Oxford, where they studied British history & literature, death penalty policy, and fiction writing.
