Krister Honkonen

Krister Honkonen is a senior expert in contaminated land and hazardous building materials at PE Teknik & Arkitektur in Gothenburg, Sweden, since December 2023. With over 25 years of experience in environmental consulting, Krister holds a significant role as a member of the reference group for FRIST Chalmers, contributing to research on effective treatment techniques for contaminated sites. Previous positions include project management roles at Rejlers and COWI, where responsibilities encompassed contaminated land projects and environmental due diligence. Additionally, Krister has been involved in various initiatives such as founding MarksaneringsInfo, serving as a web editor for Nätverket Renare Mark, and holding positions at the City of Gothenburg’s Property Management Office and the Swedish EPA.
