Carolyn TenEyck has worked in the advocacy field since 1999. Carolyn began their career at Johnson & Johnson, where they served as National Advocacy Manager for Oncology, Renal Disease, and HIV (Infectious Disease) HIV Sales. Carolyn was the number one HIV Sales Associate and created a new national Advocacy function for the company in Nephrology. In 2008, they moved to MedImmune/Astra Zeneca, where they served as Senior Director of Advocacy Development. Here, they built a "gold standard" Advocacy function with a field team of 7 Managers and empowered parents and their advocates through quality disease education. In 2014, they began working for Jazz Pharmaceuticals as an Advocacy Consultant, where they developed a strategic plan to build a best-in-class, patient-focused Advocacy function. Also in 2014, they began working for Prolacta Bioscience as Director of Advocacy, leading Advocacy relations with external patient, professional, and policy organizations. Carolyn also held the role of Senior Director of Advocacy and Government Affairs at Prolacta Bioscience. Additionally, they were the Oncology Therapy Access Working Group Director at Alliance for Patient Access (AfPA), where they established the Oncology Therapy Access Physicians Working Group.

Carolyn TenEyck obtained their Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Southern Seminary Jr. College between 1975 and 1977. Carolyn then attended the University of Maryland and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Public Relations between 1977 and 1979. In 1993 and 1995, they obtained their Associate in Science in Nursing from The College of Southern Maryland. Additionally, they hold certifications in Cardiac Intensive Care from Johns Hopkins Hospital and is a Registered Nurse.
