Danikka Yu

Danikka Yu has had a diverse work experience since 2013. Danikka began their career as a Specimen Accessioner at LabCorp in 2013. In 2014, they took on the role of Research Associate at bp, where they were responsible for extracting DNA from crude oil samples and preparing DNA libraries for NGS. In 2015, they moved to UC Irvine as a Jr. Specialist II. In 2016, Danikka joined Prolacta Bioscience as a Sr. QC Compliance Analyst, responsible for laboratory compliance to all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies and procedures to ensure inspection readiness. Danikka also held roles as a QC Compliance Specialist and QC Laboratory Specialist.

Danikka Yu is currently enrolled in the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, where they are studying Digital Content Creation. Previously, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from San Diego State University in 2014.
