Kartiga Selvaganesan is an Imaging Scientist at Promaxo since August 2023, focusing on the research and development of MRI data acquisition strategies and pulse sequences for low-field MRI systems. With a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Yale University, Kartiga's previous work includes implementing gradient-free MRI systems and developing novel nonlinear spatial encoding schemes during doctoral studies from August 2018 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes optimizing pulse parameters for a single-sided MR system at Promaxo as a consultant, creating an automatic brain image segmentation algorithm as a research fellow at NINDS, and conducting undergraduate research on fluid dynamics in anatomical variations of the Circle of Willis at UC Berkeley.
