Kartiga Selvaganesan

Imaging Scientist at Promaxo

Kartiga Selvaganesan is an Imaging Scientist at Promaxo since August 2023, focusing on the research and development of MRI data acquisition strategies and pulse sequences for low-field MRI systems. With a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Yale University, Kartiga's previous work includes implementing gradient-free MRI systems and developing novel nonlinear spatial encoding schemes during doctoral studies from August 2018 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes optimizing pulse parameters for a single-sided MR system at Promaxo as a consultant, creating an automatic brain image segmentation algorithm as a research fellow at NINDS, and conducting undergraduate research on fluid dynamics in anatomical variations of the Circle of Willis at UC Berkeley.
