David Boucher

David Boucher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both the academic and industry sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Applications Specialist/Territory Manager at Promega since April 2006, David is responsible for sales and technical support across Queensland, Victoria, and Tasmania, while also managing financial outcomes and overseeing automated freezer programs. Prior roles include demonstrating and tutoring microbiology and molecular biology at Monash University, as well as conducting postdoctoral research on Leptospira. David also gained experience as a field worker at Pioneer Hibred International Inc., where responsibilities included supervising nursery staff and contributing to breeding programs. David's academic foundation includes a PhD in Microbiology from Monash University and undergraduate degrees in Molecular Microbiology and Biology from the University of Southern Queensland.
