Lorie Atwood

Lorie Atwood has a strong background in grassroots outreach and recruitment. Lorie most recently worked as a Grassroots Outreach Coordinator at Royal Public Schools starting in December 2019. Prior to that, they were a Recruitment Manager at Organizer Zero National Parent Leadership Incubator, where they designed and executed recruitment strategies to attract parent leaders. Lorie also has experience in operations and recruitment, having held the role of Operations | Recruitment Manager at Promesa Academy Charter School. Additionally, they worked as a Family and Community Coordinator at KIPP San Antonio Public Schools for six years, from July 2012 to November 2018.

Lorie Atwood earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Lorie also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from the same university.
