The Regional Vice President of Sales is responsible for sales of integrated solutions of the Promethean portfolio, including all Hardware, Software and Services.

Manage the end-to-end sales process across the assigned sales geographies. Share responsibility for customer satisfaction in the assigned sales territories together with other functional team members.

Uphold Promethean’s brand image and reputation by maintaining the highest ethical standards and uncompromising integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving quarterly and annual Hardware/Software revenue quotas and/or other metrics (e.g. customer satisfaction)
  • Work with team members to ensure extensive customer engagement relative to the buying process, key attributes of valuable solutions, budget/bid/RFP process, and RFP response creation/review.
  • Provide accurate and timely revenue and inventory forecasting for the designated geography, identify/manage pipeline and grow revenue while attaining gross margin targets.
  • Manage the teams’ performance and alignment to goals via the creation of appropriate coverage models for the geography and customer base, ensuring high-quality account plans are in place and reviewed regularly, coaching team members to improve their skills, and creating a positive working environment aligned with Promethean’s values.
  • Ensure all team members use the required systems accurately for forecasting, pricing, and planning (Salesforce and internal portals/applications)
  • Work with team members to understand customers’ requirements and craft differentiated solutions to accurately address their pain points.
  • Work with team members to develop sales presentations, proposals or respond to tenders/RFP/RFI and to present solutions and proposals to customers
  • Develop a regional budget and manage expenses in accordance with policy
  • Provide market input to product and marketing for assistance with go-to-market activities, differentiation and product development

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in these or a combination of these disciplines – marketing, business, information technology, engineering or education.
  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant sales experience in the education industry with proven track records in beating sales targets and developing team members.
  • Experience selling through partners/resellers (channel)
  • Ideal candidate will live in the Atlanta, GA or Dallas/Houston, TX area. Could also work from OK, KS, NE, MO, AR, LA, MS, AL, FL, GA, SC or NC.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience with selling combined hardware & software technology solutions and the complexities of forecasting, channel and opportunity registration.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales management experience.
