Kate Janich

Kate Janich has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kate currently works as the Director of Engagement and Communications at Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), where they focus on improving the employee experience and implementing solutions to support staff. Prior to this, Kate co-founded Rowan Tree Coworking + Cogrowth, a women-focused coworking and community space. Kate has also worked at Dynamic Integrated Services as a Senior Manager, providing communications, marketing, research, IT, and optimization services to clients. At Atlas Research, Kate served as a Senior Manager, primarily focusing on health communications for multiple Veterans Affairs (VA) projects. Kate also worked as a Communications & Change Management Lead at eGlobalTech, where they executed a large-scale organizational change management plan. Additionally, Kate has previous experience as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they worked on projects related to health communications and outreach for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). Kate began their career as an intern at Renaissance Gardens, where they gained operational knowledge and conducted a feasibility analysis. Kate has also volunteered at TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) and held various roles at the Hospice Foundation of America, including Program Specialist, Publications & Outreach Manager, and Continuing Education Coordinator. Kate has also worked as a Community Development Intern at the Center for Artistry in Teaching.

Kate Janich completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies from the University of Maryland from 1999 to 2002. Kate then pursued a Master of Science degree in Health Systems Management from George Mason University from 2008 to 2010. In addition, Kate has obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMBOK, although the specific month and year of attainment are not known.
