Melinda Diamond

Director, Human Resources at Prometheus Laboratories Inc.

Melinda Diamond has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on various industries including clinical diagnostics, biotechnology, consulting, chemical manufacturing, biomedical research, and public health. Melinda began their career in 1991 as the Director of Administration and Human Resources at Project Concern International, where they oversaw operations and HR functions for the organization. Melinda then worked at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology as the Senior Director of Human Resources, where they were responsible for implementing HR initiatives and supporting the scientific mission of the institute. Melinda later joined Hocking International Laboratories as the Director of Human Resources, leading HR efforts for a leading chemical manufacturer. In 2011, Melinda started their own consulting company called Diamond Consulting, providing a range of HR services to various clients. Melinda then joined Prometheus Laboratories Inc. as the Director of Human Resources, where they focused on developing diagnostic testing solutions for GI and autoimmune diseases. In 2019, Melinda transitioned to Prometheus Biosciences, Inc. as the Director of Human Resources. Throughout their career, Melinda has gained expertise in areas such as recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, policy development, compliance reviews, compensation programs, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Melinda Diamond completed their Master's of Art in Human Resources Management from National University in 1998. Melinda also holds additional certifications, including SHRM-SCP from SHRM and SPHR from HRCI. Specific dates of obtaining the certifications are not provided.
