Karen Johnson

Karen Johnson has extensive experience in healthcare management, currently serving as the Director of Quality & Risk Management at Promise Healthcare since October 2016. In this role, Karen leads quality management initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and overseeing patient care, risk management, and performance improvement. Prior to this, Karen held the positions of Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center from October 2013 to October 2016, and worked as a Medicare Nurse Case Manager at Heritage Manor of Baton Rouge from February 2012 to October 2013, where responsibilities included coordinating nursing for the Medicare program and evaluating program effectiveness. Karen's earlier experience includes serving as a Registered Nurse-case manager at Vital Link Home Care Company in 2010-2011. Educational qualifications include studies at Our Lady of the Lake College and Southeastern Louisiana University.
