Tess Vigil

Tess Vigil, M.Ed., is an experienced education and leadership professional currently serving as an Associate Partner at Promise54 since May 2022, where responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior to this, Tess held various roles in Denver Public Schools from March 2018 to May 2022, culminating as the Interim Director of Culturally Responsive Education, focusing on adult learning, DEI training, and strategic implementation of equity goals. Tess is also the founder of 50 Dresses by Tess Vigil, a clothing brand established in 2010, and previously worked at Teach For America, advancing from a Corps Member to Director of Teacher Leadership. Educational qualifications include a BA in Hispanic Studies and Visual Arts from Columbia University, an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University, and participation in the National Principal Supervisor Academy at Relay Graduate School of Education.
