Tolga Ermis

Tolga Ermis has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tolga is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of promiseQ, a position they have held since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Development Engineer at IAV GmbH from October 2018 to September 2020.

Tolga also has experience in the field of automotive technology, having worked as a Software Test Engineer at Hella Aglaia Mobile Vision GmbH from February 2017 to October 2018. Tolga was responsible for functional system and software tests, test system development and automation, and test concept definition.

In addition, Tolga had an internship at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, where they analyzed customer field test data for the development of active safety systems. Tolga also supported collaboration with other development teams within the Daimler AG subsidiary.

Tolga's academic background includes roles as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Qingdao University of Science and Technology and Paderborn University, where they were involved in teaching courses and supporting research projects in the fields of machine elements, measurement technology, and control engineering.

Tolga also worked as a Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Design Methodology Mechatronics, where they were involved in the design and modeling of an intelligent prehensile robot.

Earlier in their career, Tolga completed an internship in Lean Management at Hawker Pacific Aerospace, where they planned and executed a Lean transformation project.

Tolga Ermis completed their education in Industrial Engineering and Management. Tolga obtained their Bachelor's Degree from Universität Paderborn, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in the same field at the same university from 2013 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they also acquired the certification titled "Venture Deals Spring 2021" from Kauffman Fellows in May 2021.
