Sujal Shah

Sujal Shah has a long and varied career in the technology industry. Sujal began their career in 2003 as a Sr. Manager for Site Infrastructure and Sports Engineering at ESPN.com. In 2007, they moved to Fanzter Inc. as VP of Technology, where they were responsible for the development and architecture of all products until 2008. From 2009 to 2014, they held the role of Director Mobile Engineering and Client Application Development at ESPN, and then moved to Fanzter Inc. again as CEO and Co-founder. In 2010, they founded Forche Software, providing part-time CTO and technology strategy consulting services. In 2011, they co-founded VarioLabs, Inc., a technology startup focused on helping people make sense of the news. In 2018, they joined The Walt Disney Company as VP of Consumer Experiences Innovation and VP of Platform Product Management. Sujal then became VP of Platform Engineering and Sr. Director of Platform Engineering. In 2022, they joined Proof of Learn as Head of Engineering and Useful Clever as Owner, providing part-time CTO services and technical strategy services.

Sujal Shah received a Bachelor's Degree from The Johns Hopkins University in International/Global Studies & Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the PA Governor's School for International Studies.
