Matt Benson

Matt Benson is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in HR system management and support services. Currently serving as HR Systems Manager and previously as Senior HR Systems Analyst at Propel Schools since August 2016, Matt focuses on enhancing the efficiency of HR processes to better support employees. Prior to this role, Matt worked as an HR Specialist at Allegheny Intermediate Unit from February 2008 to 2016, where responsibilities included HRIS, recruitment, benefits administration, and onboarding. Matt also served as COO at Get the HookUp from June 2011 to January 2014, overseeing operations for an app facilitating ticket transactions. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State University and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, University of London.
