Xiang Zhang has a diverse work experience starting from 2007 as an Insurance Consultant Assistant at Farmers Insurance Agency. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as the President's Office Assistant at De Anza College. In 2012, Xiang joined the UCLA Department of Economics as a Reader. Later in 2012, they joined Equilar as a Research Specialist for Data Quality and became the Product Manager in 2016. At Equilar, Xiang led product development, coordinated with offshore teams, and handled client and internal queries. In 2018, Xiang transitioned to Propel as a Customer Success Engineer, where they supported customers and developed support processes. They then moved on to become a Solutions Consultant and eventually a Solutions Architect, at Propel, working on designing and building solutions for customers' business problems. Throughout their work experience, Xiang demonstrated expertise in Salesforce, process automation, customer support, and team coordination.
Xiang Zhang pursued their education in Business Economics and Accounting. Xiang first attended De Anza College from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics and Accounting. Later, they enrolled at UCLA from 2010 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Economics and Accounting. Additionally, Xiang Zhang obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2016, they completed the "Illustrator Fundamentals" course from AcademyX Computer Training. In the same year, they also attended the "Making the Transition from Staff to Supervisor" seminar conducted by Fred Pryor Seminars/CareerTrack. In 2017, Xiang Zhang completed the "Python Fundamentals" course from AcademyX Computer Training. More recent certifications include the "Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA)" obtained in July 2020 from Salesforce and the "CS50: CS50's Introduction to Computer Science" certification from edX, earned in January 2021.
