Nazul Perez

Nazul Perez has extensive experience in the field of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). They started their career in 2006 as a Service Manager at Intelligent Services for Laboratories, where they managed the service area and provided support for various equipment used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and drug companies.

In 2013, they worked as a Field Service Engineer at AVT, where they analyzed, designed, and installed inspection and automation systems for printing quality standards.

From 2014 to 2016, Nazul held the role of Service Engineering Manager at Selecciones Medicas del Centro. In this position, they coordinated and oversaw the maintenance of medical equipment and supervised training projects.

In 2015, they joined Intelligent Services for Laboratories as an Engineering Manager. They were responsible for coordinating and overseeing the maintenance of chemical and pharmaceutical equipment, as well as planning and executing training projects.

From 2017 to 2018, Nazul worked as a Robotic Process Automation Developer at IBM. They gained experience in developing RPA solutions during this time.

In 2018, they joined ARIA Business Bots as an RPA & AI Lead Developer/Implementation Manager. They led technical teams, owned solution design and delivery, and focused on championing security and quality.

From 2020 to 2021, Nazul worked at EY as an RPA & AI Senior Manager. They led and oversaw RPA and AI development teams, maintained efficient configurations, and ensured adherence to standard design principles.

Most recently, Nazul joined Proper in 2021 as a Senior Automation Product Manager. They lead the RPA Development Team and collaborate with various teams for the implementation of automation projects, utilizing RPA best practices and providing functional and technical expertise.

Nazul Perez has a diverse education history. In 2020, they attended The University of Texas at Austin for a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. In 2016, they studied at Ritsumeikan University for an Information Science JICA degree, specializing in Neural Networks and working as a researcher. In 2012-2013, Nazul pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering at The University of Manchester. Nazul began their educational journey at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2001 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Nazul Perez has also acquired several certifications. Notably, they achieved the Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional (Automation 360) certification from Automation Anywhere in September 2021. In August 2020, they obtained the EY Robotic Process Automation - Platinum certification from EY.
