Shannon Maguire

Shannon Maguire is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, currently serving as General Counsel at Proper Hospitality since October 2025. Prior to this role, Shannon held the position of General Counsel and EVP of Business Affairs at The MBS Group from October 2019 to October 2025. Shannon founded and served as CEO of MATKA from October 2018 to October 2019. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Paul Hastings from March 2015 to October 2018, and as both a Summer Associate and Associate at Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP between 2012 and 2015. Shannon holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
