Tianfan Chen has a diverse range of work experience in the field of ASIC verification and firmware engineering. They started their career at Sigma Designs in 2007 as an intern, and later became an ASIC verification engineer and firmware engineer at the same company. In these roles, they were responsible for verifying video decoder modules using random and directed testbenches, as well as verifying the full video decoder locally and at SoC level. They also created and maintained regression tests and collaborated with the design team. In 2015, they joined PROPHESEE as a Senior ASIC Verification Engineer, where they led the verification of the RISC-V system for event-based sensors. They also conceived architecture, led firmware development based on RISC-V, and led top-level verification development.
Tianfan Chen began their education in 2002, completing a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Science and Technology at Southeast University in 2006. They then pursued further education at Télécom Paris from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Diploma of Engineer in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science.
