Gnaneswar Somavarapu has extensive work experience in accounting and finance roles. GNANESWAR is currently employed at Proposify as an Accountant, responsible for managing full cycle accounting and month-end close processes, performing accounts payable and receivable duties, and preparing financial analysis and reporting documents.

Before joining Proposify, Gnaneswar worked at Epicure™ as an Accountant, where they handled inventory accounting and month-end close processes. GNANESWAR was responsible for tracking, analyzing, reconciling, and reporting on inventory quantities and costs.

Gnaneswar also has experience working at Maersk Global Service Centers India Pvt. Ltd., where they held two roles. As an Associate Controller at APM Terminals, they oversaw general ledger activities, internal controls, and financial statement analysis. In their role as Chief Accountant at DAMCO, they managed full month-end cycle accounting, reported financial statements, and reviewed month-end journal entries.

Prior to their time at Maersk, Gnaneswar worked at Wipro BPS as a Senior Executive. GNANESWAR was involved in property accounting process implementation and standardization for a USA-based manufacturing and retail company. GNANESWAR also worked on a transition project for end-to-end property accounting from the client's location.

Gnaneswar gained experience in fixed asset accounting at GENPACT, where they supported the client Glaxo Smithkline. GNANESWAR processed various tasks related to fixed asset accounting, such as capitalizations, transfers, retirements, and disposals.

Early in their career, Gnaneswar worked as an Audit Executive at A.V.Subbarao and Associates, conducting internal audits for clients in the infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. GNANESWAR also worked as an Articleship at M/S Bhupathi Raju & Associates, where they performed vouching, verification of account books, and assisted with day-to-day accounting tasks.

Gnaneswar Somavarapu began their education in 1998 at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University in Hyderabad, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General. GNANESWAR then pursued further studies at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2002 to 2006, earning a CA Inter/ PE II degree in Financial Reporting, Auditing, Income Tax, Costing, and Business Law.

In 2005, Gnaneswar enrolled at Acharya Nagarjuna University, where they completed a Master's degree in Accounting/Commerce in 2007. This academic pursuit allowed him to deepen their expertise in the field.

Gnaneswar's education journey continued in 2020 at Royal Roads University, where they pursued a Master of Global Management degree with a focus on International Business. GNANESWAR successfully completed this program in 2021.
