Jonas Vieira de Assis

Jonas Vieira de Assis has solid work experience in the field of software engineering and data engineering. Jonas is currently working as a Software Engineer at Propylon since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Itaú Unibanco as a Data Engineer from February 2020 to April 2022, where they served as a Tech Lead, developing a self-service data platform using Python, AWS Services, ETL Informatica, and .NET CORE. Before that, from August 2018 to January 2020, they worked as a Data Engineer at Itaú Unibanco, focusing on data ingestion and optimization in the CRM area. At Itaú Unibanco, Jonas worked with various technologies including Hadoop, Python, statistical models, and SAS, implementing agile methodologies and maintaining quality standards. In the past, they also gained experience as a System Analyst at Senior Solution from January to July 2018, as a .NET Developer at Consinco from April 2016 to December 2017, and as a Software Developer at AlfaSoft Consultoria e Sistemas from July 2014 to July 2015.

Jonas Vieira de Assis obtained an MBA in Full Stack Development from IGTI in the years 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology - Parana, from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Jonas has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. Jonas obtained the certification for "Big Data on AWS" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2021. In February 2016, they achieved the "Fluency Duolingo in Spanish: Advanced" certification from Duolingo. Most recently, Jonas became an "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" in December 2021, also from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
