Katherine McIntosh, CGBP

Katherine McIntosh, CGBP, has a diverse work experience in global business consulting, international trade consulting, business development, marketing, and consulting in various sectors. Katherine has worked with proSapient as a Global Business Consultant, providing strategic planning and training for global growth. At Florida SBDC Network, they served as an International Trade Consultant, advising numerous corporations on global growth and providing growth solutions. As the Director of Business Development and Marketing at AMEXTRA, they oversaw implementation and led management consulting efforts. Additionally, they worked at World Travel Holdings as a Consultant, advising employees on international business practices and providing presentations on Mexico culture and travel destinations. As a Consultant in their independent practice, they offered business development and marketing solutions to clients in the CPG, legal services, and non-profit sectors. Katherine also co-founded and managed the international business and legal consulting firm McIntosh and Peralta, LLC, where they provided market expansion plans in consumer goods sectors. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of the Mexico Pacific Chapter at the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce Inter-American Chapter, managing all office affairs and consulting members on regulatory and cultural challenges. Katherine began their career as a Tutoring Program Developer at Academy Prep Centers for Education, where they formed a new tutoring program and tutored students in various subjects.

Katherine McIntosh, CGBP, began their education in 1997 at Eckerd College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and Spanish. Katherine completed their degree in 2001. In the year 2000, they participated in a semester abroad program at ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara.

In addition to their formal education, McIntosh has obtained several certifications related to global business. Katherine became a Certified Business Consultant at Florida SBDC at University of South Florida in November 2014. In January 2015, they achieved the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) designation from NASBITE International. In the same year, they also obtained the SBDC Global Trade Advisor Certification from SBDC Global in May.
