About the Role

As an Application Specialist, your responsibilities are to:

  • You will be part of the application specialists team with the focus in the EMEA region.
  • Product demonstrations, evaluations, and pilots: in conjunction with the account manager, conduct demonstrations, help develop detailed evaluation and pilot plans, expected outcomes, and set customer expectations.
  • Translates customer use cases into an application design exemplifying our unique value proposition.
  • Communicates technical aspects of products to prospects, customers and sales team in clear, simple terms aligning customer goals with products capabilities.
  • Contributes to the business case development and authors application components of SOW.
  • Resolves application issues throughout the sales cycle.
  • Keeps up to date with new technological developments.
  • Training customers on Concentriq and AI modules from Proscia.
  • Be the customer advocate and provide consolidated feedback to product and marketing teams about features and trends.

What are We Seeking?

To be successful in this role, you shall have:

  • A Ph.D. in biomedical, medical or life science will be an advantage.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role, application specialist or application scientist, or lab experience with a customer support role in the clinical, healthcare or life science industry (e.g. facility manager or core facility support role).
  • Must have: Experience with imaging, microscopy, histology, and/ or digital pathology. Pathologist Assistants would be preferred.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Image analysis and image processing.
  • Strong business acumen – able to identify and articulate key values to customers.
  • Comfortable presenting solutions to various customer representatives from pathologists, research scientists, IT, and data scientists.
  • High level of professionalism in communicating with customers, partners and internally.
  • Ability to run several projects in parallel and with a passion for working in a scale-up environment.
  • Have strong management, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across any level.
  • Be able to work independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate.
  • Possess an uncompromising, strong moral compass.
  • Willing to undertake travel (minimum 35-40%).
  • Ability and curiosity to learn.
