Iain Smith

Iain commenced his career in the Royal Navy as an aircraft engineer before moving into Oil and Gas with Halliburton in Aberdeen. He has amassed 30 years in the sector across offshore, operational, and both regional and senior management roles. During his time in the industry, Iain has worked for companies including Vetco Gray and GE, spending several years being based in Nigeria, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Iain joined Proserv in 2012 as the firm’s Far East & Asia Regional President. After four years in that post, Iain returned to the UK to head up Proserv’s global subsea controls operation from its Subsea Centre of Excellence in Great Yarmouth, before ultimately taking on his present senior leadership team position.
