Michael Cimini

Michael Cimini is currently the Head of Investor Relations at Prospect Capital. Previously, they served as the Head of Investor Relations at Prospect Capital Corp. from August 2014 to December 2018. In this role, they led the IR function for a financial services company with a market cap of ~$2.5 billion and ~$6 billion in capital under management. Michael also served as the primary contact for communicating the company’s financial position and strategy to members of the investment community.

Before their time at Prospect Capital, Mr. Cimini was with The IGB Group from January 2006 to August 2014 as Managing Director. During their time there, they developed and executed comprehensive financial communications programs for NYSE and Nasdaq-listed companies. Michael also provided senior management with counsel to implement best practices and ensure SEC compliance.

Mr. Cimini began their career in investor relations at KCSA Worldwide in January 2001, where they served as VP of Investor Relations until December 2006. In this role, they increased client visibility through non-deal investor roadshows and participation in investor conferences. Michael also drafted financial and non-financial press releases, quarterly conference call scripts, shareholder letters, fact sheets, investor presentations, etc.

Most recently, Mr. Cimini was with Garrett Motion (Nasdaq: GTX) from January 2019 to November 2021 as Sr. Manager - Investor Relations & Financial Communications.

Michael Cimini has an MBA in Finance from Baruch College and a BA in Journalism/Mass Communications from St. Bonaventure University.
