Kirsty (Hanshaw) Herlihy

General Manager - People & Culture at Prospection

Kirsty Herlihy (Hanshaw) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of people and culture, talent development, and organizational change.

Starting in 2007, Kirsty joined Lloyds Banking Group, where they worked as an HR Business Partner for multiple divisions and managed a large number of employees. Kirsty also held the role of HR Integration Manager and participated in a two-year graduate program gaining experience in various HR and business positions.

In 2012, Kirsty joined HSBC as an HR Business Partner, providing strategic support to three business units within the European Commercial Banking division. Kirsty later became the Head of Learning & Talent Development for the UK Bank, leading a team of specialists and winning industry awards for their work in diversity and inclusion.

Moving on to MYOB in 2018, Kirsty served as a Strategic People Business Partner, responsible for the people strategy and implementing innovative solutions to enhance leadership capability and accelerate growth. Kirsty was then appointed as a Program Manager, where they led the design and implementation of the new operating model.

Most recently, in 2022, Kirsty joined Prospection as the General Manager - People & Culture. Kirsty'srole involves attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining top talent as the company expands its product and services into new international markets. Prior to this, they were the Head of HR and Talent Development at Prospection, building the organizational capability and enabling employees to reach their full potential.

Throughout their career, Kirsty has demonstrated expertise in people management, talent development, and driving organizational change.

Kirsty Herlihy (Hanshaw) holds a BA Hons degree in Business Studies/Human Resource Management from the University of Stirling. Kirsty also obtained an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management (MCIPD) through CIPD Qualifications. In addition to their formal education, Kirsty has certifications in the Emotional & Social Competency Inventory (ESCI Assessment) from Korn Ferry, which they obtained in March 2018, and Chartered Membership from CIPD, which they achieved in October 2013.
