Saardia Wong

Saardia Wong has a diverse range of experience in the field of UX design. Saardia started their career at Mod Media in 2007 as a Designer and Front-end Developer, where they worked until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at Fitness2live in a similar role.

In 2010, Saardia joined Medibank as a Web Designer, where they were responsible for conceptualizing, sketching, wireframing, and creating functional prototypes for new features. Saardia also analyzed user flows and visitor traffic across mobile and online products. Saardia stayed at Medibank until 2014 and advanced to the role of Senior Interaction Designer.

Saardia then joined Aconex in 2014 as a Senior User Experience Designer. Saardia worked there until 2018, during which they also served as the Team Leader for Experience and Design. Their responsibilities included managing and supporting a group of UX designers, defining UX best practices and design principles, and facilitating UX workshops.

From 2018 to 2021, Saardia worked at Oracle, where they held the positions of Principal UX Designer and Senior Principal UX Designer. Saardia played a key role in defining UX strategies, planning and coordinating the rollout of the Oracle Design System, creating interaction and navigation patterns, and envisioning prototypes. Saardia also mentored colleagues and drove the adoption of user analytics across the business.

Saardia is currently working at Prospection as a Senior UX Designer, starting in September 2021.

Saardia Wong completed their education with a Master of Multimedia in User Experience Design from Swinburne University of Technology in the year 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Biochemistry from the University of Melbourne, which they completed between 1996 and 1999. In addition to their formal education, Saardia Wong also holds a certification in Heap Foundations from Heap, which they obtained in November 2020.
