Martin York

Martin York has a comprehensive and diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Martin is currently serving as the Director Total Rewards at Prospera Credit Union since August 2020. Prior to this, they held various positions at Vancouver Airport Authority from 2008 to 2020, including Manager of the Project Management Office and Director of Priorities & Planning. At Intrawest, from 2006 to 2008, they worked as the Manager of Canadian Benefits. Martin has also worked at Morneau Shepell as a Senior Consultant from 1999 to 2006, and at ING Australia as an Assistant Product Manager from 1987 to 1997. Throughout their career, they have showcased their expertise in areas such as project management, budgeting, compensation, benefits, and insurance.

Martin York completed their education in a chronological order. In 1993, they received a Certificate of Superannuation Management from Macquarie University, with a focus on Superannuation. Martin later attended Dalhousie University from 1999 to 2004 and obtained a degree in Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), specializing in Benefits and Retirement Programs. Lastly, from 2009 to 2013, they attended World at Work and earned the title of Certified Compensation Professional, specializing in Compensation.
