Darío Lorenzo Díaz has a strong background in the field of irrigation and landscaping engineering. Darío started their career as an intern at AZOR Trade Int., where they gained experience in preparing commercial offers and drawing up tenders for gardening and landscaping projects. Darío also played a role in establishing an environmental and quality management system.

After that, Darío worked as an Irrigation Engineer at TRAGSA, where they were involved in preparing and reviewing standards for irrigation equipment. Darío also conducted laboratory tests to support these standards.

Next, Darío joined EINAR S.A. as an Irrigation Engineer, focusing on R&D and characterization laboratory tests for irrigation valves. Darío also provided technical assistance in water engineering works and prepared technical and commercial offers for hydrometry equipment.

In 2014, Darío joined Urbaser as a Landscape Bidding and Project Engineer. Here, they managed the preparation and production of bids for public gardening and landscape maintenance services. Darío conducted on-site surveys, analyzed data, and wrote bids. Darío also formulated landscape designs and produced landscape master plans, with a focus on innovative approaches such as green roofs and living walls.

In 2017, Darío moved on to Rain Bird Corporation as a Field Service Engineer for Europe. Darío provided technical support to customers, distributors, and field personnel, both telephonically and on-site. Darío specialized in troubleshooting and repairing irrigation components, commissioning central control systems, and start-up of remote management cloud-based platforms.

Currently, Darío works at Prospera Technologies as a Field Service & Training Engineer for Europe & CIS. Darío provides technical assistance for irrigation and agricultural technological products used in self-propelled irrigation machines. Darío offers remote and on-site technical support to dealers and end-users.

Throughout their career, Darío has also pursued freelance work as a Landscape and Irrigation Engineer. Darío has designed and installed automatic irrigation systems for parks, gardens, and sports surfaces. Darío has also provided gardening and landscape design and build services, focusing on vertical gardens, living walls, and green roofs.
