Renee Sowers

Renee Sowers is an experienced human capital leader currently serving as AVP Human Capital at Prosperity Life since July 2021. Prior to this role, Renee held the position of Director of Human Resources Services at Medical Facilities of America from March 2010 to July 2021. Renee also served as 2nd Vice President of Group Operations at Shenandoah Life Insurance between January 2005 and February 2010. In earlier career stages, Renee worked in operations and IT management at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Virginia from June 1989 to December 2004. Renee holds an MBA from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business (1989-1993) and a BS in Economics from William & Mary (1985-1989).
