Kwame Williams

Kwame Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kwame began their career in 2000 as a General Manager at Ryan's Restaurant Group, where they successfully increased sales by 25% and monthly profits by 20% year over year. Kwame then transitioned to the role of Inside Sales Representative at FLEETCOR in 2008 before joining Worldpay in 2011 as a Corporate Operations Manager. At Worldpay, they were named Lead Manager in the absence of the SVP of Operations and achieved significant improvements in NPS scores. In 2013, Kwame moved to E*TRADE as a Senior Financial Services Representative, consistently exceeding company expectations for client engagement. Kwame then worked at Scottrade as a National Investment Advisor from 2014 to 2018, surpassing client engagement goals and achieving a portfolio exceeding $5M in total Assets Under Management. Kwame joined Thinkful in 2020 as a Data Analyst, where they utilized SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Python to solve business problems and conduct statistical analysis. Currently, they work at Benefit Communication Insourcing as a Piedmont Hospital Human Resources Consultant, where they plan and executes new employee orientations and on-site projects, consistently exceeding client engagement expectations.

Kwame Williams attended Augusta State University from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, in 1996, they completed a certificate program in Advanced weapons and electronics at the United States Air Force Technical Training. Additionally, Kwame has obtained several professional certifications including an Insurance Agent certification in Accident, Health, Life, Variable Life, and Variable Annuities from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) in October 2019, a Series 66 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in February 2017, a Series 63 certification from the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) in December 2014, and a Series 7 certification from FINRA in November 2014.
