Sam Halgren has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They started their career as a Food Server at Veselka, a restaurant in the East Village, where they performed various duties including taking orders, serving meals, and training new hires. In parallel, Sam pursued their passion for theater and worked as a Playwright in New York for three years, collaborating with various theater companies and writing plays.
In 2017, Sam transitioned into the corporate world and joined CATS Software, Inc as a Multimedia Content Creator. Working as part of the marketing team, they were responsible for creating a variety of content such as copywriting, blogs, videos, and advertisements. They remained with the company until 2020.
Following their stint at CATS Software, Sam joined Orvis as a Sales Associate in 2020. At Orvis, they specialized in assisting fly anglers and hunters with the appropriate apparel and equipment for their outdoor activities. Sam's expertise in fly fishing and hunting contributed to their success in this role.
Currently, Sam is working at ProsperStack, where they hold the position of Business Development Representative. Starting in 2021, they are responsible for driving business growth and generating sales leads. With their extensive experience in sales and customer relations, they contribute to the company's success as an Account Executive.
Sam Halgren attended Whitman College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre/Theater. In 2011, they also briefly studied Film/Cinema/Video Studies at the University of Southern California. Additionally, in 2012, Sam attended the British American Drama Academy for a period of time to pursue acting, although no specific degree was obtained.
