Richard Burke

Richard Burke has extensive experience in software and systems engineering. Richard worked as a Software & Systems Manager at Protean Electric from 2008 to 2019, where they were responsible for all aspects of software and systems engineering. Prior to that, they served as a Software Manager at Omitec Limited from 2001 to 2008 and at Cubic Transportation Systems from 1999 to 2001. Richard also worked as a Project Engineer at Thorn Transit Systems International from 1996 to 1999 and as a Contract Products Manager at Micro Control Systems from 1987 to 1996. Currently, they hold the position of UK Engineering Director at Protean Electric.

Richard Burke attended the University of Oxford from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained a degree in Engineering Science.
