Sandrika Berthias, PMP

Sandrika Berthias, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Event Management Intern at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children, where they managed a silent auction project for a golf tournament fundraiser. From 2008 to 2011, they were an Event Planner at GMU and Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center, responsible for planning and coordinating events for children in the Prince William County region.

In 2011, Sandrika founded their event management company, S and B Event Management, LLC, where they oversaw the production, hosting, and management of large-scale events, expositions, and major fundraisers. Sandrika held various operational responsibilities and managed business strategy, marketing plans, resources, and compliance with state and federal laws.

From 2012 to 2018, Sandrika worked as a Senior Account Manager and Event Marketing Signage Consultant at Lewis Media Consulting Services, where they managed printing and event marketing signage projects for major accounts. Sandrika exceeded client expectations and provided strategic consultation on various event marketing materials.

In 2018, they joined United Fray as an Event Manager, overseeing the daily management of event projects in multiple markets across the US. Sandrika planned, executed, and monitored event production projects and managed resource management planning.

In 2020, Sandrika began working as a Senior Project Manager at Protech, where they worked across multiple business areas to manage technical aspects and business deliverables. Sandrika was responsible for delivering large projects on time, on budget, and meeting quality specifications. Sandrika also managed a team of 6 including project managers and solution consultants.

In the same year, they also worked as an Events Project Management Consultant on a freelance basis, providing expertise in project management for event-related projects.

In 2023, Sandrika took on the role of Upgrade Program Manager at Protech, where they are responsible for the success of upgrade or reimplementation programs. Sandrika oversees a cross-functional team and acts as the Portfolio Manager for all upgrade projects. Sandrika collaborates with other leaders to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across the organization.

Sandrika Berthias, PMP has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Event Management from George Mason University. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A) degree in Tourism and Leisure from Charles Peguy - Marseilles - France in the year 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Sandrika has also obtained various certifications. Sandrika is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2020. Sandrika also holds a certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales, obtained from Microsoft in April 2021.
