St John Skilton

As VP of Global Sales and Marketing, St John Skilton has helped establish a worldwide sales force and a support team at Protein Metrics Inc. With deep domain experience in MS and related analytical tools the biopharmaceutical industry, St John has been at the forefront of development for many years.

Previously at Danaher (Sciex) in Business Management, Waters in the Biopharmaceutical Business unit, and at Micromass as an engineer, St John has extensive experience in bringing new products to market. His experience in sales, marketing, business development, and analyst roles has helped provide a rounded view of product portfolios and how to deliver tools that are meaningful for customers.

St John studied Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at the University of Cape Town, and has a PhD from the University of Fribourg. He has been an author on many papers and with an affinity for languages has lived in the U.K. France, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Korea and South Africa. When not tinkering with the new tools that protein Metrics provides, he plays cricket, enjoys snowboarding, does woodwork, and enjoys canoeing with his family.
