Greg Glenn

Greg Glenn has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering, particularly in the development of medical devices. Greg is currently serving as the Director of Hardware & Software Systems at PROTEOR USA, where they are responsible for leading the development of lower limb prosthetic devices. Prior to this role, they held the position of Manager of Mechanical & Electrical Systems at the same company.

Before joining PROTEOR USA, Greg worked at Medtronic, where they held several engineering roles. As a Principal Development Engineer, they led the mechanical development of a critical care ventilator platform and was the lead author of multiple utility and design patents in the field of ventilation. Greg also served as a Staff Development Engineer, where they integrated a ventilator project into Covidien's project management office and maintained the schedule through vendor development partnerships and international team utilization. Additionally, Greg worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Newport Medical Instruments (acquired by Covidien in 2012), where they played a key role in the development of a new critical care ventilator platform.

Prior to their work in the medical device industry, Greg served as the CEO of SySense Inc and worked as a Research Engineer at the same company. Greg also gained valuable experience through various mechanical engineering internships, including positions at General Motors and Race Technologies.

Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills. Greg has a track record of delivering successful projects and making significant quality improvements to existing products. Greg has also been actively involved in industry standards development, serving as a company representative on ISO Technical Committee for prosthetic testing standards.

Greg Glenn earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA between 1999 and 2003. Greg then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA between 2004 and 2006.
