Mike Boggess

Mike Boggess has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Mike started their career at General Motors as an Electrical Engineer in 1991. Mike then joined Chrysler in 1992, where they held various roles including Team Lead of Charging Systems and Ignition Systems, Engineering Specialist, Systems Engineering Supervisor, and finally, System Engineering Manager for Powertrain and Active Chassis. In 2014, they joined Blue Bird Corporation as the Chief Engineer, where they were responsible for leading and establishing best practice engineering vision and strategies. During their tenure, they successfully launched a leading-edge electrified school bus and managed the electrical architecture design, manufacturing process, and supplier quality. In 2019, they joined Proterra Inc as the Vice President of Engineering.

Mike Boggess received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Michigan Technological University in the years 1985 to 1991. Following that, they pursued higher education and completed a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a focus on Engineering at Oakland University from 2006 to 2008.
