Nana Shen

Nana Shen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering within the aerospace and electric vehicle sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Program Management at Proterra Inc since March 2022, Nana oversees EV battery development programs for heavy-duty vehicle applications. Prior to this role, Nana held the position of Program Executive Director at Maxar Technologies, managing communications satellite programs and leading initiatives for clients such as nbn, Telesat, and Ovzon. Additional experience includes working as an Engineering Manager at BAE Systems, where leadership was demonstrated in developing military vehicle systems, as well as prior positions at Pratt & Whitney, focusing on NASA contract operations, and at The Boeing Company as a Senior Development & Design Engineer. Academic credentials include an MBA from Duke University, and both a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue and Stanford Universities, respectively.
