Andres Gonzalez Telo

Andres Gonzalez Telo has worked in the software engineering industry since 2013. In that year, they began working as a Software Engineer at Kaseya, where they created new UIs and the corresponding backend support. Andres then worked as a Mobile Software Engineer at LiveAnswer, Inc., where they built both the iOS and Android applications and the backend API that served both of the mobile apps. In 2015, they became a Software Engineer (Backend & iOS) at Gobutler, where they worked on projects such as implementing a very general system / recipe for handling custom flows in a conversation, building the payments system, and adding backend support for custom Zendesk apps. In 2016, they became a Lead Software Engineer at ASAPP, Inc. and a Data Scientist at Angel.ai, where they implemented modules for named entity recognition using bidirectional LSTMs and conditional random fields, and worked on the pipelined architecture of the NLP service. Finally, they worked as a Software Engineer at 71lbs, where they automated the processing of thousands of records to generate reports on the shipping data and file refunds. In 2021, they began working as a Staff Software Engineer at Proteus Motion.

Andres Gonzalez Telo received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Florida International University between 2010 and 2013. Andres has also obtained certifications in Automata from Coursera, Classical Mechanics, Introduction to Probability Theory, and Quantum Mechanics from edX.
